Legislative Committee

The PHCC-NC Legislative Committee is YOUR VOICE in State Legislative matters that affect your business!!! Through our Registered Lobbyists, we help you stay abreast of upcoming changes in NC Law and Building Codes that could help or hurt your business. By voicing your thoughts on these matters to the Legislative Committee, your input is presented to those Legislators and individuals seeking to change the way your business is conducted.

Fair competition, prompt payment, code and licensing issues, lien laws ... you name it, the Legislative Committee is involved in the issues that matter. From fighting for contractors' rights in Raleigh to assisting with hometown code issues and dozens of others in between, PHCC-NC, Inc. is the best friend our members have!

This Committee educates government officials about members' businesses and the conditions under which they must operate. Our efforts enable these leaders to better understand the value our members provide and how government can help our members succeed.

A big part of our work includes trying to influence legislators and legislation through our Political Action Committee.  We welcome hearing the issues that are of concern to you, and greatly appreciate your generous donation to the PAC Fund.
